Sharon and I love the The Park (the local affectionate term for the Kruger National Park).
It is a majestic, grand and scenically splendid place. It is home to about 150 mammal species, 500 bird species, 114 species of reptile, about 50 species of fish, 34 amphibian species, and over 200 species of butterfly! The Park is big game country, where only the fittest, wisest, fastest, strongest and most adaptable survive. This is not a place for the weak and sickly. Elephant, buffalo, rhino and tens of thousands of ungulates roam the hills, mountains and plains, whilst lion, leopard, and hyena stalk the nights. It's little wonder that all South Africans are mighty proud of this place.
